A stone stream that carries the sulfur water from Vendome Well to Travertine Creek in Sulphur, Oklahoma.

And now, a piece of WPA trivia...
Many small towns in Oklahoma have similar stone streams (many are dry, however). The bottom includes a V-channel to help carry away even small amounts of water. Do you know why?

Very cool, Trixie. I didn't know that. It's little bits of knowledge like that which help our society function well and most of us don't know it.
