This is Jay, Mikey's little brother. Jay was born June 18, 2007, at 5:34 p.m. He weighed seven pounds and two ounces. He is 19.5 inches long. Mother and baby are doing well. Mikey likes his new brother, although he wisely observed, "He don't do much yet."
And on Jay, that OU stuff looks good. What can I say? An angel can redeem anything.
Tonight I went out with TL, Melissa and Kyra. We ate at Applebee's, then went to TL's and Melissa's home to play games. (I was privately celebrating submitting the book.) We played trivia games. Apparently I slept through the 90's because I drew a blank on most of the questions. It's not that my memory is going. It's that I never knew in the first place! It was a nice night, and I enjoyed it.
Y'all have a good night. I'm outta here.

Welcome into the world Jay!
Such a cutie pie :)
Good night Tech.
Awwwwwww! How cute is he!! :)
He's a sweetie, Rain.
He's very, very, very cute, FF.
MY EYES! I can't see the baby for the evidence of child abuse that has blinded me! MY EYES!
Kidding. Cute kiddo.
Beautiful baby but its tragic his parents don't have money for good clothes. We should start a fund. :)
He's absolutely beautiful! Babies are how we know God loves us. His parents must be so proud. And tell them that I'd be happy to send him some Texas Longhorn apparel so the other babies won't make fun of him. :)
Ha ha. You three -- ER, Slim and Gloria -- are really funny. I wish you could hear my tone. Just assume it's dry and wry with a touch of sarcasm. That would be close.
I would have to agree with the Texas clothes. Even though I just had to get an OK tag for my car :0( I'll always bleed burnt orange. We had a great time last night too! Next time, we need to play REAL Trivial Pursuit.
Okay, sorry, Gloria and TL. Jay will never wear Texas clothes! NEVER! Although he would make them look good, too. He's just got that style and elegance about him, you know.
TL, Spades? Hearts? I'd like something I stand a chance in!
I'll teach you 42. Of course, if you don't like it as well as I do (though I can't see how that would be possible) we can play spades. Take a poll from your readers who might know 42. They'll tell you how great it is!
So far, TL, I've not found anyone who has ever played it. I found the rules for it online ... I don't expect to be playing it any time soon!
I hope your baby is as beautiful as Jay.
He's so precious. And wearing the garb of the angels! And he's so fun to hold, too!
Papa E
He is precious, P.E. I don't know that he's wearing the garb of angels, but he does look good in what he's wearing. Sigh. If only he was wearing an OSU shirt and hat. He'd look even more perfect! :)
Heh. OU. Kid's got good taste for a newborn!
No, seriously that's one cute baby. And although OU is my school, I can't quite get past the adults who feel they have to indoctrinate the babies. At least not before baptism...
Cute baby, but couldn't the parents afford some clothes without ugly graffiti all over them? ;)
Go Pokes! Oh, man, I'm not the only one standing, am I?
Hey, Tech. How come my Amberclear name doesn't work any more? grrr
Oh, please, it's just clothing. Ignore the dreaded letters and focus on the beautiful baby!
And I cheer for OU at every game until they play OSU. Then they can die a horrible, screaming death! But otherwise I cheer for them because they are from Oklahoma, too. And I know many people who attended OU, and they are fairly normal. Admittedly I wouldn't want them in my town, but they still can lead active, productive lives somewhere doing something really simple. So stop picking on them! :)
Amber/Rowan, I don't know why it doesn't work, although it may be because you haven't used it for a while.
