I perfer patty pan (pattie pan?) squash, myself. Sliced thick, brushed with oil and grilled. But any kind of squish is good. That's one way to tell who yer enemies are out in the country, by the way: They're the ones who keep bringing you squash after yer already filled to the gills with it! Such has caused people to lock their back doors for the first time!

I like it, also. It's delicious steamed with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. It's also good with a dab of butter and honey.

I like it sliced thinly and then steamed in the microwave with seasoned salt sprinkled on it. Delicious and fairly low-cal.
In the pic, it looks like a garden party game of Twister gone awry! Hoot!
I like it all those ways, but Grannie used to coat it with cornmeal and fry it. It was delecious!
I like to eat it but I like your photo of it even more -as sensuous as the slippery feel of squash on the tongue.
