I've been working on a new template for Harbor Street. Gloria graciously let me use her blog to experiment. If you go to Wry Words, you'll see the possible future template for Harbor Street. There is a poll on the sidebar on the right. Please let me know what you think. Thank you.

I voted. I very much prefer your current layout. It is open and beautiful and unique. It has a sense of calm because the color is not so in-your-face. I'm considering lightening up my own blog because the colors are so intense and probably don't appeal to many readers. Your current blog is soothing to me.
I voted the same way as Trixie. The colors are kind of intense. It also has the same long skinny look I wish I could figure out how to get rid of on my blog.
The lighthouse on your current blog is much more in line with the safe harbor feel you apply to your blog. If you want to change, a lighthouse would be one thing that I'd like to see stay. :)
Both layouts are nice. I prefer your current layout, but if you changed, I'd still read.
The big difference I like is the right-mounted sidebar instead of the left.
