Warning. Core meltdown. This is not a test.
My computer has died. So far I've been unable to get it to boot again. I don't have enough money yet to purchase a new computer. I hope to by July. Posts may be scarce around here until then. I'll post when I can and when I have access to a computer. I'll be thinking of ya no matter what. When I do post, I'll try to post lots and lots. Anyway, that's what's going on. Wish me luck. Tech my friend if you'd send me an email with your mailing address, I'll send you $25 for a new computer. Reading your humor and other things has given me plenty of hours of entertainment over the past year. You're worth a lot more than $25 but that's all I can spare.

I have Tech's address and a little something to help is on the way. I don't know if Tech can even respond without a computer, but I think he can when he's at work. I too have enjoyed this blog and the thought of it being gone for a two months is bad. I wish I had enough money to buy a computer for you, Tech. I would if I could. You're in my thoughts.

How can I not? He makes me think, smile and sometimes even cry with his words. My day isn't right without a little Tech behind it.

Wow. I am overwhelmed. A friend told me that I needed to check the blog so I fired up my roomie's computer and looked at it. I hadn’t been checking it because I was too depressed about the computer situation. But now I have, and here’s this fantastic surprise waiting me. Thank you all for valuing the blog and my writing. It is truly humbling and gratifying. I don’t know what to say more than that.
As for the computer situation, I’ve literally spent all day trying to get mine to boot. No success so far, but I’m going to attempt to install a new hard drive. There’s a chance that might work. I may be throwing good money after bad, but if it doesn’t work, I will at least have a good drive to use as a backup for whatever new computer takes its place. I used my roomie’s computer earlier today to look at computer prices online. I’m going to keep looking and comparing prices to try to get the best deal I can on a computer that will satisfy my desktop publishing, photography and writing needs. Fortunately I’m not a gamer so I don’t need the graphics or super-speed that some people might want.
Anyway, you’ve given me a great gift by your support. You’ve shown me that my writing does have value, that I’m actually reaching people. I don’t have the words to express how much this means to me, but please know that it means a lot.
