Pink Floyd always produces singular music. You know a Pink Floyd song because no one else sounds like them. Recently, Richard Wright, one of the band's original members, passed away. All things pass away eventually. Here's one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs. The video is odd, but the song is understandable and wise.

Pink Floyd was one of my favorite bands back in the day.
The world has lost two great musicians this month. First Jerry Reed and now Richard Wright. I cannot help but wonder who will be next.
Rain, I don't like all their songs, but I like enough that I'm a fan.
Reed and Wright. Punny. ;)
That video is definitely odd, as are most music videos to me. I like the song title, though. :)
I once went to a Pink Floyd concert in Houston. It was an outdoor concert and experienced the obvious hazard of outdoor concerts--it rained. I didn't stay when it began to pour, but they played until all of their amps blew out. I thought it was pretty excellent of them. It was the Dogs of War, if I remember right.
FF, it's one of my favorite songs. It really speaks to loss of childhood hopes and dreams as life bogs us down.
They have always tried to please their fans, Amber. I think it's one of the things that make them a superior band. They never lost sight of their audience.
