Here is the picture of me in a tux. I'm disappointed. I thought I had a larger one so you could really appreciate the glorious awfulness of the blue tux that I wore to my Senior banquet. Just trust me when I say that it was stylin' at the time. And look at all that hair and those sideburns. Wow. I was hot ... or not.
Ooo me too! Hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteThat is one foxy picture! If memory serves me correctly, light blue tuxs were the highest fashion statement in our era. In fact I went to prom with a guy and he wore a blue tux!
ReplyDeleteY'all are making me blush ... but don't stop! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? Powder blue, outlined in midnight blue? Woohee baby, woohee!
ReplyDeleteMy dad got married in a blue tux. Good 'ole 1977!
ReplyDelete::Grins at Trixie:: Woohee? Is that good? :)
ReplyDeleteYour dad was married in 1977, Jaime? Suddenly I feel very old. :(
ReplyDeleteLOL yeah, that's good.
ReplyDeleteI know that dude!
ReplyDeleteI remember that blue tux...:) You know, it really doesn't seem that long ago, either. I believe the theme was, "Over the Rainbow," that year...I think. It was the theme for our junior or senior year...
ReplyDeleteI do remember my driving motivation for everything our senior year was to leave town in a cloud of dust. I couldn't wait to get settled in my dorm room and immerse myself in everything "Sooner". That was a very good year. :)
I still enjoying leaving town and moving on somewhere else. I guess some things never change.
Tech, my parents got married and became parents at a very young age.
ReplyDeleteDid anybody else wear their cowboy boots to the prom?
ReplyDeleteI wasn't wearing cowboy boots, Dr. L. But yes, we did have several guys there in cowboy boots. But they were shined!
